Stay Away From The Credit Crunch Using Rent to Own

If you’ve ever been turned down for credit you know how difficult it is getting back on top. It has got to be one of the most frustrating systems that has been set up in the financial industry. You would think since everyone uses it they would be more compassionate to those who have been on top and for one reason or another had a blip. Often times the blip may not have even happened and getting it fixed is next to impossible. One of the compassionate industries where you can find new items for your home and not have a credit check when you fill out rent to own application is the rent to own houses industry.

This market almost has a captive market and are much more tolerant when it comes to people who have had a misfortune and got a mark against their credit rating. There are many people out there who have had medical issues take their credit score to the bottom. Not because they didn’t want to pay their bills but because they couldn’t make ends meet due to the large doctor bills on top of everything else. Trying to fix it is a nightmare unlike trying to get a new appliance at rent to own online. It would be great if the credit reporting companies also recorded the reasons for the credit defaults, but that is not likely to happen.

It’s not like you can just call up and tell the credit scoring companies what happened and they will fix it. You have to keep calling the companies that put the marks against you and have them contact the credit scoring companies. Of course they aren’t as eager to fix the problem as they were to call in something against you. It is rare to find someone who wants to help you. That’s why many people are turning to rent to own houses and forgetting about going through the hassle of applying for a home loan when they have lousy credit ratings.

There is a great DIY Rent To Own Manual that has been released by a couple of very sharp rent to own investors at http://www.DIYRentToBuyHouses.com.au where they show you a non investor view of how to secure your own rent to own home for as little as $10.00 down. Basically, they are showing you how to do these deals directly with the seller, instead of involving investor middleman type companies. Next time you see sign promoting Rent To Own Homes, just ask yourself the question – if this is an investor, how much extra are they going to charge me. Don’t rush in and do your homework.

Restaurant Week 2009 Goes To Manchester

Internet travel and leisure retailer Last Minute.com has announced that starting on 2nd March 2009, its very popular Restaurant Week will begin. This year the event will take place in 3 UK cities, not just in London but Manchester restaurants and restaurants in Birmingham will also take part. The Restaurant Week is based on the New York Restaurant Week, that has been recieving great reviews for a number of years now.

Last year in London over 100 restaurants took part in the week, including a selection of Michelin star establishments including Richard Corrigan’s Lindsay House, Almeida, Tamarind and Quilon. The decision to expand to include Manchester and Birmingham is a brilliant decision as both of these cities are well known for their fine eating facilities.

The great thing about the event is that it benefits both business and consumers. The restaurant week gives visitors to Last Minute.com the opportunity to experience fine food at a fraction of the cost, which will no doubt help loosen the purse strings. The cities themselves will benefit from the tourism expenditure and Birmingham and Manchester restaurant will benefit from bums on seats as well as added exposure from the press.

Last Minute.com has teamed up with Capital 95.8’s, Help a London Child appeal for the third year running with a percentage from each booking being donated to the charity. This March they are expecting the participation of over 40 restaurants in Manchester and Birmingham and over 150 in London. There has been talk that next year the event will expand to include Liverpool restaurants and possibly some Scottish and North Wales restaurants.

ECUADOR – one state with four absolute different geographical markets

The three main geographic regions on the mainland are:

  • The coast also designated “La Costa” on the Pacific Ocean
  • The highlands also called “La Sierra” which means the mountain range of the Andes running from North to South through the whole state
  • and the Amazon rainforest also named “El Oriente”.

The Galapagos Islands (in german: Galapagos Inseln) – the fourth region – is an insular region in the Pacific Ocean.

It is a breath taking moment, standing there on an island where nobody lives – only some endemic species you cannot find anywhere else in the world. Swimming with sea lions, sea turtles and sharks is nearly as overwhelming as walking over one of the islands, watching fascinating species like the blue-footed boobies, lava lizards, albatrosses, marine and land iguanas, mockingbirds and innumerable different kinds of finches. This is what this province of Ecuador is known for: the vast number of endemic species.

So if you are interested in fascinating animals and plants this is the place for you! Even if you have not been interested in plants and animals before, there is a great chance you will be after visiting this archipelago of volcanic islands that is also located around the equator.

Usually you land at “Baltra” where you find the airport. From there you can go to one of the bigger islands called “Santa Cruz” in Galapagos with the biggest city on the islands – “Puerto Ayora”.

At Santa Cruz you can visit the Charles Darwin Research Station with a tortoise breeding center as well as the highlands where you find a beautiful mangrove forest and interesting volcanic formations like the two big holes “Los Gemélos”.

Another interesting but very small island is “Santa Fe”. On Santa Fe you find a lot of land iguanas and sea lions as well as a forest of Opuntia cactus.

“Española”, the oldest island of the archipelago, hosts a large number of endemic fauna furthermore albatrosses and marine iguanas that change their colour during the breading season. This island offers the most beautiful beach for swimming and snorkelling: Gardner Bay.

The island “Floreana” – named after the first president of Ecuador (Juan José Flores) – houses species like pink flamingos and green sea turtles that nest on the island between December and May.

A wooden barrel is kept at Post Office Bay where post could be picked up by ships passing by and was delivered to its destination.

Formidable underwater volcanic coral formations can be found snorkelling or diving in Glapagos at the “Devil’s Crown”.

Ecuador is a country like a dream – only by going there you can find out yourself!
