My Wedding Was Almost Ruined…

I wanted the fairy tale wedding… You know… the ceremony in the church, the reception afterwards and the stretch limousine that whisked us away to our honeymoon… I know I could pull it off with amazing wedding planning

That wonderful image would have been tarnished if I didn’t change two things before my wedding day: my weight and my hair.

I know it sounds silly now but before my wedding these two things were stressing me out. I want to tell you about my experience and how I found a solution to both of these problems so you won’t have to feel anxious before your wedding like I did.

I so desperately wanted to lose weight so I could look good at my wedding and fit nicely into the elegant wedding dress I had paid a lot for. I really believed that if I started dieting months before my wedding that I would fit that beautiful dress. But I fell short of my goal and still hadn’t reached my ideal weight and size without feeling uncomfortable wearing my gown.

I was worried that with so little time remaining before my wedding that I would have to get my dress altered at the last moment. But one of my friends whom I mentioned my weight problem to, told me about how she had a similar problem and recommend a wedding day diet that would help me lose weight and reduce my size in a short period of time. I followed her advice and read the weight loss book she recommended and to my surprise I lost enough weight and lower my size just in time to fit into my wedding dress perfectly.

I felt happy I could wear my wedding dress proudly and now I had one last problem to conquer… my wedding hair. I have damaged hair. I guess I had over done it with those perm chemicals. One day I took a trip to the health and beauty section of a drug store and bought a styling iron that promised it would restore luster and body back into my hair.

The styling iron actually worked. My hair never looked better and I was confident that my wedding hair will look fantastic. But a few weeks later, the styling iron I was hoping to use for my wedding day died on me. I later discovered that it was recalled because it was a fire hazard. Now I had to find a new hair styling iron and I was asking around for a good reliable brand.

Once again a friend saved my day. She told me about FHI hair styling tools and how fast and easy it was to use. Once again I took my friends advice and purchase my own FHI and tested it before my big day. It worked even better than the iron I previously own. I did a little information digging and found out that Beyonce Knowles and Jennifer Aniston had their hair done with FHI irons.

When my wedding day finally arrived, it wasn’t perfect. There were a few small things that didn’t turn out the way I had envisioned… but my weight and my hair was exactly the way I wanted it to be.

The Granny Home is Becoming Extremely Popular in Australia

Perhaps you have a relative with whom you want to share your home and want to offer them the privacy of a self-contained annexe? Granny flats and annexes often afford more independence for relatives than living in the main dwelling.

The humble granny home, actually, belongs to a tradition that stretches back more than a century, to a time when widows used carriage houses to pad out their income, couples spent the summer in them and rented out the principle house to tourists, and workers, young couples and bachelors regarded them as const effective places to live within easy walking distance of work.

While the trend is to move away from more traditional brick and tile house building, Australian designers are exploring new construction methods that will take full advantage of innovative, new materials which are being introduced into the manufactured housing market.

Actually, when you think about it, the building methods developed for modular accommodation make more and more sense, when you consider the soaring costs of onsite building, the added expense of complying with OHS regulations, and the demands of ensuring new building work is environmentally-friendly and sustainable.

There are many Australian companies offering a variety of manufactured homes to appeal to every taste and budget. They offer a choice of floorplans so you are certain to find one that’s just right for your requirements. They are also able to customise a floor-plan to conform with any special requirements. There is also a choice of exterior designs to select from.

So, whether you need a granny flat to be added to an existing house plot, or a sea-side home, or a lakeside cabin, it’s good to know there are cost-effective solutions to be found.

Kit homes have many possible uses – they are perfect for granny flats, military accommodation, miners’ accommodation, teenagers’ retreats, lakeside cabins – anywhere where a piece of suitable land is available.
