Buying books for our children

Last night we experienced parent teacher conferences for our Kindergarten student. They went ok, but probably the most enjoyable component was heading to the book fair and seeing all of the neat books available to children at a reduced cost. They ranged from early readers to sophisticated students. They experienced a few priced at $2.50, most had been $5-$7. Because we had been there on the final day I believe we missed out on some great selections, but nevertheless managed to find quite a few that our youthful reader would enjoy.

I'm fired up to go to this once again following year, and even discover 1 at a different college and go to theirs. The proceeds from all sales go back again to the college which is really useful. The school also includes a fun carnival at the end of the college year and proceeds from those game ticket revenue also go to good local causes for the college students.

Our son is doing nicely in school. His teachers consider him to become bright, a quick learner, and very great at math and reading. Most of all I want him to be acknowledged for his talents and be given each opportunity available. I was an A student in school and was able to be in any group I wanted. All of the sophisticated activities had been made available and aided shape who I am these days. I want my son to have those exact same opportunities.
